Shmoo TF2 Tourney and Meeting Steam/[=NM=] Friends
So I wanted to mention that I had a good time playing TF2 at Shmoocon. I wish I had played more TF2 lately. I have been playing so much COD:MW2 that I really suck at TF2 right now. I was part of (although not very effective) of the only team that beat tournament winner’s MobileDisco for 2 rounds (to then be owned in the subsequent 5 rounds.) I should have just setup as an ENG at the last capture point from the beginning. Anyways… it was great to meet jutral, rugburn, C-P, Vyrus, and lolo (for a brief second). I hope to actually practice for next year as well as know the map.
As an aside, while hanging in the TF2 room Friday night, we watch this DVD which was part of the Barcode Sharcode contest, and this dude did a 45 minutes power point explaining the meme “All Your Base Belong To Us.” We watched the first 20 minutes, and I have to say, other than being pretty ridiculous, it had to have been alot of work to do a 45 MINUTE POWERPOINT on this topic. I know more about it than I ever need to know. And the 5-6 min/slide average was astounding!

we know how to demo. It seems the DC404 guys are planning a full out team to beat us, so we welcome the full on [=NM=] team to try and beat us this year @ defcon. 3 words: Bring, It, On.
